The flyer for Leesville Gap Road Race was just posted. Leesville is racing par excellence, and has everything anyone could want out of a race. Climbs? Check. Scary descents? Check. Rough roads? Double check, with stars and underlines. I’m going to make an effort to get you, yes you, out to this on June 30th. Look at the flyer, clear your calendar, and be ready to make a commitment when I call or email you in the coming week.

The Elkhorn Classic is coming up. It’s a 3-day, 4-stage race in Baker City. The website promises epic racing, and I think it would be pretty to cool to do this with some team mates. I’ve already registered, and I’m starting to think about transportation and lodging. If you’re considering doing this, register soon! There’s a combined 4/5 field with a 75 person limit, but there’s also a 400-person cap on all fields.

Please join me for some low intensity TTT practice on Tuesday evening after the park ride along GG polo fields. We’ll work on technique and strategy to develop a super smooth paceline. Speeds will be limited to small chainring to focus more on form.

Unique Hill Climb TT….1st annual event for a great cause. There is a $300 prize for setting the course record; this is the first year so the fastest time wins $300…MARK????
Also, this is a great event to have full team support for first time racers: Louisa, Brett, Tyler, Nick…..
